Despite sports being crucial to my life, I graduated in Biochemistry at the “Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona” in 2019. Even though everything that I was studying actually interested me, I didn’t see myself within one of the usual Biochemistry career options. Sports kept drawing my attention and I started seeing a connection between them and what I was learning at College.
Then I decided to study the 4th year of my Bachelor’s degree abroad at the University of Montana (Missoula, MT) to immerse myself into the exercise science field. Being fascinated by everything I learnt there, I currently keep updating my knowledge autonomously by reading papers and following the expert’s activity in the field.
Ever since I was a little kid, I have been involved in sport. From Taekwondo to Trail Running (my main discipline and what I currently enjoy the most), I have gone through different disciplines, some competitively and others noncompetitively. However, since I first tried an endurance discipline, I am delighted by its demands and its rewards.
Running and/or cycling as long as possible, for as many days in a row as possible, going through as many places as possible, and enjoying as many landscapes as possible is currently my main athletic goal.
Looking forward to chatting and discussing with you about physiology, nutrition, and sport!
